How Ardor Began!

Starting a business at any age is a daunting task, but for Connor, it was a challenge he was willing to take on at the age of 15. His first business, Vice Clothing, was a print-on-demand clothing company that experienced great success during the COVID-19 lockdowns. However, when restrictions lifted, business began to decline, and Connor was forced to close down the company.
But Connor wasn't one to give up easily. He took a job as a wedding waiter at a local hotel, but his dream of being his own boss was still alive. He wanted to start a new brand, but this time he didn't want to rely on print-on-demand services. Instead, he searched for a suitable manufacturer and named his new brand Ardor.
On June 4th, 2022, Ardor was officially launched with a small bulk order of 30 tees. Despite the modest beginnings, the brand began to gain traction, and by November 2022, Connor had signed a contract with a small shop in Naas, Kildare, to place the products in-store. December 2022 and January 2023 saw a surge in sales as Connor turned 17 years old.
As the brand continued to grow, Connor made the decision to temporarily terminate the contract with Depot 32 in Naas to focus on building his online customer base. This was a strategic move to ensure that the brand could reach a wider audience and gain more traction.
As of April 2023, Connor is in the planning stages for his next bulk order of tees and sweatshirts for his customers. His passion and determination have driven him to take risks, pivot his business strategy, and make difficult decisions, all of which have contributed to the success of Ardor.
Starting a business at such a young age is impressive, but what makes Connor's story so inspiring is his refusal to give up despite facing setbacks. His journey with Ardor showcases the power of resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to a dream. As Connor continues to grow and evolve his brand, we can't wait to see what's in store for the future of Ardor.
